Mark Ryden’s “The Gay ’90s” Sketchbook Insert in Hi-Fructose Vol. 28

The beginning of July saw the release of our latest print issue, Hi-Fructose Vol.28, and for this volume, renowned painter Mark Ryden collaborated with Hi-Fructose on a very special sketchbook insert. Printed on heavy-weight sketchbook paper, the 16-page insert offers an intimate look at Ryden's series, "The Gay '90s Show." The insert accompanies an extensive feature on Ryden's new work (printed on the glossy pages). Take a look at some of the drawings in the sketchbook insert and see the rest of the feature in Hi-Fructose Vol. 28, available online and at your local bookstore. More images after the jump!
