Otis College of Art and Design professor Nathan Ota sent us these HF-exclusive images of some of the work that will be on display at Los Angeles’ La Luz de Jesus Gallery for his next show, September 3rd. Though it’s his fifth showing with the LA institution, “An Unforseen Homecoming” will actually be the artist’s first solo showing at the space as well as his most introspective one yet. Ota told us that his past work has “explored new worlds, both dark and fantastic”, but with his latest body of work Ota has taken a step inward, setting his new pieces inside the world found within his own studio… Get a first look inside the studio itself as well as some process and teaser pics below.
