“JR – The Wrinkles of Los Angeles” and More on MOCAtv

At the beginning of this month, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles launched its YouTube channel, MOCAtv, in an effort to make art more accessible to curious minds around the world. “MOCAtv is a timely and vital digital extension of the museum. The channel will attract the growing online audience of people on every continent who are interested in visual culture, and provide them with the opportunity to see, explore, and experience the art of today,” said MOCA Director Jeffrey Deitch. For the channel’s street art-focused Art in the Streets series, our photo contributor theonepointeight just launched a video that shadows JR for his Inside Out project in Los Angeles. Watch “JR — The Wrinkles of Los Angeles” above and take a look at an ADD-inducing teaser video for MOCAtv and an animated video collaboration by Galen Pehrson and experimental rap group Death Grips from MOCAtv’s Art + Music series below.
