Preview of Jonathan Levine Gallery’s “Detournement”

Opening on Wednesday at Jonathan Levine Gallery is “Détournement: 
Signs of the Times,” a group exhibit guest curated by Carlo McCormick. A noted art critic and writer whose career spans over three decades, Carlo has produced some of the most interesting art shows in New York. This exhibit features an impressive line-up of artists utilizing signs and ads to create work that is often antithetical to the original image. Take a look at more of the art after the jump.
