Faile Mural – Houston and Bowery

Street art collective Faile, who we recently interviewed in Hi-Fructose Volume 18, have been passed the proverbial torch in the ongoing mural project that's been occurring on the corner of New York City's Houston street and Bowery. Following in the footsteps of fellow legends Shepard Fairey (HF Vol. 11), JR (HF Vol. 18) and of course, Keith Haring, Faile looks to continue on the site's prestigious public art campaign with a stunning mash up of classic imagery. The best part yet? It looks to be entirely hand painted. Get a comprehensive view of the mural and its creation here on Hi-Fructose, London-based readers be sure to check out their new show at Lazarides' Rathbone Place gallery, now on view.
