The 2011 LA Art Show

With the LA Art Show officially at a close this past Sunday, Hi-Fructose wanted to take a quick look back at the sixteenth installment of the West Coast's premier annual art event. In addition to the multitude of contemporary and fine art galleries exhibiting was also a notable live painting session featuring Andrew Hem, Shark Toof and Chor Boogie (fresh off their opening night festivities here) which served as an indoor aspect to the LA Art Machine's Vox Humana project, who's city-wide mural project will be kicking into high gear in 2011. More info on that later, but for now check out Hypebeast / Hi-Fructose photographer Brandon Shigeta's photos of the mural event as well as his personal highlights from the weekend long fair.
