Paul Chatem’s River, Rock, Bones

Paul Chatem recently opened a new show at Dialect in downtown Los Angeles. For anyone who hasn't encountered Chatem's work in person yet, hop your nearest steamboat or railcar and make it down to experience the entertaining, interactive and folky industrial work. Utilizing a series of exposed, painted and hidden cogs and gears, Chatem's pieces transport their viewer to slightly simpler yet more sinister times in a wholly unique and entertaining manner.
