Incredibly Realistic and Detailed Miniature Landscapes by Matthew Albanese

Looking at one of Matthew Albanese's landscape photographs, it can be difficult believing it isn't real. However, you can be assured, all of these amazing landscapes are the products of Albanese's imagination and hardwork.  He meticulously creates these extremely realistic scenes often by making innovative use of household objects, food and lighting.  Since he was young, Albanese showed an interest in movies, special effects, and miniatures.  Even into his career as a commercial photographer Albanese focused on the small scale.  However, in 2008 a spilled container of paprika powder inspired a Martian landscape and led to an impressive body of art work.
