This Saturday, June 29, C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice, CA will open three concurrent solo shows: John Park’s “Guerrilla Warfare,” Skount‘s “Identity Disorder” and Pure Evil‘s “Hollywood Nightmares.” For “Guerilla Warfare,” John Park presents a dystopian vision where corporations encroach on the citizens’ freewill, eerily reflecting upon the course of contemporary society. Inspired by the Shakespearean metaphor of life as a theater, Skount creates an imaginative world populated by masked and costumed figures rendered with rich detail. For “Hollywood Nightmares,” Pure Evil casts a critical gaze on celebrity obsession with his dark paintings of classic Hollywood stars. Take a look at some of the artwork below and check out these three solo shows June 29 through July 15.
