Shark Toof’s “Ping Pong Show” at C.A.V.E. Gallery

Last weekend, street artist Shark Toof opened a solo show in Venice, CA’s C.A.V.E. Gallery featuring a new series of bright, Pop Art-inspired paintings that tackle the theme of predator-versus-prey. Titled “Ping Pong Show,” the new show pops with electric hues of orange, magenta and green, presenting large, toothy beasts as the central protagonists in the drama of the circle of life. Borrowing motifs from 1960s advertising, Shark Toof’s paintings explore the intersection of human and animal survival instincts and primal drives. Take a look at some of the works in the show below.
