Joao Ruas’ ‘Yore’ – Preview

Opening next weekend, November 5th, at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles will be 'Yore,' the latest solo showing by artist Joao Ruas. For his return to the gallery, the fables Fables cover artist appears to have an interesting body of work in the works. With over twenty paintings, etchings, an indoor mural, and even hand painted ostrich eggs, 'Yore' looks like it may be the fall opening event to remember. In addition to the original works, there will also apparently be a show catalog, new print, as well as a small quantity of Ruas' 'Minion' book available, which we previewed at the beginning of the summer here. Get a first look at several new works from the show, here on Hi-Fructose.
