Camille Rose Garcia’s Snow White and the Black Lagoon

Following her reworking of Alice in Wonderland last year, Camille Rose Garcia (HF Vol. 8 cover artist) tackles yet another classic fable with her own colorful, expressive and macabre style. Opening at Michael Kohn Gallery on March 12th, Garcia's 'Snow White and the Black Lagoon' is a modern day take on the familiar Grimms Brothers fairy tale, albeit with an allegorical and environmentalist twist. Hi-Fructose has acquired a preview of some of the paintings and drawings that will be on display, get a closer look at Snow White, her dwarves, and the Black Lagoon after the jump.
