Art Basel Miami 2010

Hi-Fructose landed in Miami earlier today just as Art Basel: Miami Beach was getting underway. Rushing directly from the airport to the Miami Convention Center, we took in the press preview and managed to escape the crowds. Amongst the plethora of Warhols, Hirsts and other blue-chip artists, Hi-Fructose hunted down some works by our personal favorites, including Yoshimoto Nara, Barry McGee, Walton Ford, Kehinde Wiley and more. Strong showings by Kohn Gallery, who had nice works by Mark Ryden and Camille Rose Garcia, and Shafrazi's Robert Williams showcase caught our eye and will be covered more in depth tomorrow, however you can check an exclusive first-look into some of the other more compelling pieces and galleries now on show at the fair.
