Tomorrow night, Saturday, January 14th, Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco will be debuting their latest group show, ‘An American Language.’ In the same vein as their recent sign-painting show (see our studio look at New Bohemia Signs here,) ‘An American Language’ pursues the concept further by enlisting a large roster of sign painters from around the country. These artists represent not just a dying breed of specialists, but also provide a contextualized environment to understand the value of visual text and to view the craft as art.
