Sweet Wishes Mark Ryden & Marion Peck

Mark Ryden and Marion Peck present a strange cautionary fairy tale for dolls, bears and babies about fairies and loads of sugar entitled "Sweet Wishes". Based on the above short film co-created by the artists, a hardcover book will be released on July 21st through Porter House. The book will be available in standard and special editions (which includes a DVD of the short, a book mark, and is signed by the book authors).

Japanese product producers Maywa Denki were featured in Hi-Fructose Vol. 3. "Maywa Denki demonstrate product like surgeons, operating sounds on their nonsense machines seemingly made out of a mixture of the carcasses of animals, people, old-time diving suits, scissors, and acoustic guitars..." People always want to know if their products really work and what they sound like, so here are two informative videos to knock on your mind.


Chicago gallery and toy store Rotofugi, have really turned things around. This adorable ad spot "The Collector" with a fantastic sense of humor was created by the folks at Country Club Chicago and is an award winning animation featuring our favorite designer toys but instead of being the collected, they are the collectors... of humans! We know it's an ad, but it's so cool we had to post it.
