Softly Encompassing the Womb: Edwin Ushiro

Softly Encompassing the Womb, Edwin Ushiro's anticipated solo show opens September 12 at LeBasse Gallery in Culver City. True to form, he titles his work with emphasis to the narrative. Titles such as "Living Long Enough to be Familiar" or "Nowhere is it Safer than the Impracticality of Applied Impossibilities" illicit an inquisitive and sympathetic response. Edwin was kind enough to send us a few progress shots giving us a peek inside his method to creating these dreamy works of art.
