NuArt Festival Recap: David Choe, ROA, DALeast and M-City

In its 12th year, NuArt Festival invited a group of international street artists to Stavanger, on the Norwegian coast, for a marathon of mural painting throughout the city. This year, David Choe (who seems to be entering a prolific period after last month's opening of his first solo show in four years) left behind some small, character-based works while ROA and DALeast did not shy away from working large with their radically different animal portraits. Hailing from Poland, M-City painted Stavanger's control tower (which sends signals to Norwegian airports) with a geometric, mandala-like mural.
