Bruce Mahalski’s Animal Bone Guns

Bone Pistol Set No.1, a pair of dueling “pistols” created by artist Bruce Mahalski, was made out of an assortment of found animal bones which include bones of cats, ferrets, rabbits, sheep, hawks, and more. The “spare bullets” that accompanying the pistols in the red velvet lined box are teeth from a horse. Along with art guns Mahalski creates other sculptural objects made from found animal bones. The artist has been collecting bones since a very young age.
