Nicola Verlato’s “How the West Was Won”

Referencing the struggle between religion, pop culture and Medieval paintings, Italian born artist Nicola Verlato arrives at NYC’s Jonathan LeVine Gallery with his solo exhibition, ‘How The West Was Won.’ Utilizing his great skill over the medium, the epic paintings often depict a vibrant and at times violent sense of movement as well as a mastery over composition and light.
