Every year, we get to meet an exciting rage of emerging as well as distinguished artists, and spotlight their awe inspiring works right here on our blog. 2015 was no different, and on this New Year's eve, we'd like to look back on the year's top 10 most popular posts. The art that made this year's list is genre bending and particularly unconventional, from Riikka Hyvönen's largescale mixed media portraits of derby girl bruises, to blind artist George Redhawk's haunting and thought proving GIF artworks made using software designed for the visually impaired, to Inge Prader's photo series that reenacted Austrian symbolist Gustav Klimt’s most famous paintings. We also paid tribute to some prominent artists who we sadly lost this year, "Lord of Lowbrow" The Pizz and TV Batmobile designer George Barris. Be it dreamlike, beautiful, strange, grotesue, arousing, or controversial, the diversity we saw in 2015 makes us excited to see what 2016 may bring. We'd like to thank you for reading our daily blog posts and quarterly print issues, and wish all of you a very Happy New Year.
