Our buddy Tara McPherson sent over two pretty exciting pieces of news this week. First off, the talented artist is opening her own brick and mortar retail space, Cotton Candy Machine, in Brooklyn this weekend. Secondly, to celebrate the boutique’s opening, she’s hosting a massive group show, “Tiny Trifecta”. With 100 artists taking part, and each piece of work being priced at $100, expect the opening this Saturday, April 9th to be jam packed with good times and even better art. Get a look at a preview of some the pieces that will be available, here on Hi-Fructose.

Editor’s Note: Camilla d’Errico just updated her blog with an additional preview of the works from the show, view that here.

With Tara McPherson’s recent group show coming to a close at her new Cotton Candy Machine boutique in Williamsburg (covered here), it looks like the West Coast kings of pop up, Zerofriends, are joining forces with McPherson to present a group show of new original art, prints, books, zines, apparel and everything else those boys do so well. Alex Pardee, Dave Correia, Skinner and Robert Bowen descend on Brooklyn this Friday, May 6th, get a look at the new prints and customized books after the jump!
