Look for the adorably fierce colorful sculptures in Los Angeles on @gameofshroomsofficial day from Marisa Avila Sayler.
@speaking_in_rainbows
June 14 I’ll be hiding some of these for the annual art fungus hunt, Game of Shrooms, in Long Beach CA! I have done this worldwide scavenger hunt event every year since the first year @attayumfactory started it and it is so fun to drop art, run away, and watch people find it! Tho last year someone was so fast, she found us about a minute after I posted and we were still there so we chatted! U people r serious so im serious right back 🫡🌈
🍄I believe these are my fanciest yet. I’m varnishing now and I am considering making one sparkly with glitter and micro rhinestones so that one of you can find an ✨Ultra Rare Shiny Shroom✨circle yes/no
Stay tuned for more info about drop location as we near June 14 🌈🫡

Ever want to sleep at a museum? Neither did we, until we went to 21c. We recently stayed at the 21c Art Museum Hotel in St.Louis as well as the 21c in Bentonville, Arkansas and had the best time. 21c locations (there are 7!) combine actual contemporary art museum gallery exhibitions which are free and open to the general public with chef-run restaurants, cafes and galleries in mostly converted buildings. And even a few of their suites have been transformed into immersive experiences.
And then there are the 5 foot penguins…🐧
But are the exhibitions thought-provoking and relevant?
Read our hifructose.com exclusive interview with 21c’s curator Alice Gray Stites and decide for yourself.
