La Luz Group Show Focuses on ‘Semiotics’

In a new group show "Semiotics" at La Luz De Jesus Gallery, the titular study of symbols and signs plays a role in the works of four artists: Dianne Bennett, Meagan Boyd, Carlin Diaz, and Nathan Reidt. Kicking off June 7 and running through the end of the month, the show features artist that work "in a pictorial language by following a set of standards, and rules," the gallery says. “Each artist draws upon the signified (intuitive experiences) in order to cultivate a signifier (work or art) that represents their own underlying theme,” La Luz says. “For the exhibition, the signifiers come together to create a conceptual conversation based on reinvention, rebirth, femininity, design, and beauty.”
