Using a placid color scheme of neutral shades, Brazilian artist Dante Horoiwa paints compositions steeped in Pre-Colombian imagery. Centered around meditation and prayer, his surreal artworks integrate masks and musical instruments to create a ritualistic atmosphere. Long hair, textiles and threads connect the various forms in his work, melding shapes with ease like dipping one’s toes in a cool pool of still liquid.
