Based in South Africa, street artist DALeast has been making appearances on both coasts of the US recently with new mural projects in Los Angeles and Rochester. DALeast’s work has a kinetic feel. Composed of interwoven ribbons that resemble tangled film from a broken cassette, the figures in his murals pulse with motion and energy.
