Known for transforming man-made environments into organic, earthy structures, Brazilian installation artist Henrique Oliveira recently travelled to Paris to create a new work titled “Baitogogo” at the Palais de Tokyo. Oliveira morphed the beams of the museum’s architecture into thick, winding branches, using individual pieces of wood to build up the structure. “Baitogogo” is on view through September 9.
