On View: “Writing’s on the Wall” at Metro Gallery

Melbourne's Metro Gallery recently opened a group show filled with large-scale works from a small group of prolific street artists, including Swoon, Rone, Matt Adnate, Word to Mother, E.L.K, Dabs Myla, D*Face, Faile and more. Titled "Writing's on the Wall," the exhibition celebrates a bold, graphic style of street art — from Swoon's socially-conscious portraiture to Faile's collage-like plays on vintage advertisements. "Writing's on the Wall" is on view through July 27. Take a look at some of the work in the show after the jump.
