Preview: Rodrigo Luff’s “Aurora” at Thinkspace

For his upcoming solo show "Aurora" at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City, Australian painter Rodrigo Luff cultivates a sense of enchantment in his new body of work with a palette of vivid colors that glow with a chiaroscuro effect. Luff's female characters are nude, stripped of any signifiers of contemporary society and placed into a mystical space filled with lush flora and surreal characters. "Aurora" will be on view alongside Joram Roukes, Adam Caldwell and Ekundayo's three-person show, "Reflections of a New Generation" (previewed here), July 13 through August 3. See more after the jump!
