Japanese artist Fuco Ueda (featured in Hi-Fructose Collected 3) recently opened a solo show titled “Uturou Kiku” at Lower Akihabara in Tokyo. Working with a palette of subdued, pastel hues, Ueda’s new works reflect upon the relationship between mysticism and nature. Chrysanthemum flowers are at the center of every composition, acting as a powerful force that acts over the other characters. Take a look at some of the works in the show below and see “Uturou Kiku” through June 15 at Lower Akihabara.
