Sonia Rentsch’s Plant Sculptures Put Violence into Question

Australian artist and designer Sonia Rentsch and photographer Albert Comper recently collaborated to create a series of photos depicting mock weapons composed of organic materials. With their simple geometry, the soft plant forms take the gun shapes out of their context, stripping them of their aggressive connotation and inspiring curiosity rather than fear.
