On View: Bayo at C.A.V.E. Gallery

C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice, CA recently unveiled a new body of work from Mexican artist Bayo alongside new work from Joram Roukes and Restitution Press. In his loose, gestural paintings, Bayo cultivates his own mythology with a recurring cast of characters. Sometimes, the work veers towards psychedelia as limbs and eyes multiply and bodies (or our perceptions of them) become distorted. Take a look at Bayo's new works and a few opening night photos courtesy of C.A.V.E. Gallery, and check out the show through May 4. See more after the jump!
