Install view of Cept’s works
Co-founders Tom Horne and Will Suitts of Denver’s Black Book Gallery used their space, curating skills and art world connections to organize the group show “Knock it Out” as a fundraiser for the non-profit Love Hope Strength. Inspired by the loss of Tom’s twin brother to cancer, they spent more than six months accumulating work from a number of big names (including Shepard Fairey, Dave Kinsey, ROA, SWOON, Blek Le Rat, Ben Eine, ESPO and more) as well as emerging artists. The show raised funds for Love Hope Strength, the only group that has taken a rock-n-roll approach to fighting and supporting those who have either survived or lost loved ones to cancer. See our exclusive photos from the opening on April 5 below. The show will run until April 27. If you can find your way to Denver, it is not to be missed.
