Austrian painter Edgar Leissing creates dramatic representations of strange hybrids, dramatically merging the human body with flora and fauna in color-saturated compositions. Painting in a flat style that unabashedly leaves impressionistic brushstrokes and illustrative line-work exposed, Leissing captures a sense of dynamism and movement in these works.
