Juan Manuel Travieso’s Endangered Species Paintings

by Jane KenoyerPosted on

Cuban artist Juan Manuel Travieso creates paintings that feature endangered animals. The paintings contain a blend of abstracted conceptual elements mixed in with highly rendered detailed areas. Travieso went to the Art Center College of Design, California where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Illustration. Although Miami, Florida is his home base, he is now enrolled as an MFA student at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. Bold colors and eye catching cubistic designs demand attention as he reveals these endangered species to the viewer.
