Ernesto Neto’s “Madness is Part of Life” at Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo

Playing with notions of the natural and the artificial, Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto creates enormous interactive installations that evoke biomorphic masses. His works envelope the viewers in environments reminiscent of the lumps and organs that make up the human body. In the Espace Louis Vuitton in Tokyo, Neto created an enormous, spidery installation titled “Madness is Part of Life.” Originally conceived as a multi-story Louis Vuitton store, the art space provides plenty of room for Neto’s elaborate creation. Take a look at some photos of the installation courtesy of Louis Vuitton / Jérémie Souteyrat.
