Mixing early Christian iconography with pop culture references, Italian street artists Mr. Klevra and Omino71 transformed the cavernous -1 Art Gallery into what resembles a postmodern cathedral for their two-person show “Sancta Sanctoroom.” Painted floor-to-ceiling with murals full of detailed imagery, the gallery is located in an underground space in the historical Casa dell’Architettura/ Acquario Romano. Using a similar technology to Google Maps, the gallery created a 3D virtual tour to allow viewers from all over the world to “walk” through the gallery and zoom in on any detail they wish.
