Jeremy Miranda’s Dreamy Rooms of Solitude

by Jane KenoyerPosted on

Jeremy Miranda’s dreamy acrylic paintings of quiet reflective scenes are thoughtful and unassuming. The artist depicts rooms of solitude, art studios, and homes comprised of strong architectural lines and bold visual planes. Solariums surrounded by icebergs and floating homes on the sea are found in remote areas and appear to be inhabited, however there are very few references to the human figure in his new work. Miranda is currently living in quiet Maine near the Atlantic Ocean.
