Highly proficient in working in both small detail and massive scale, Phlegm creates tightly controlled pen-and-ink drawings that are transformed into large-scale murals. Recently, the artist traveled to Oslo, Norway to create the crocodile above for the ARD*Pop-up 2012, which featured a roster of European street artists. Mysterious homunculi frequently appear in Phelgm’s work, burrowing in objects and elements of nature.
