Imaginative Drawings by Armando Veve

by Jane KenoyerPosted on

Philadelphia, PA artist Armando Veve creates remarkable monochromatic drawings in blues, reds, greens or black which are highly detailed and convey volume in a uniquely stylized way. The artist achieves complex gradients by making many tiny marks. This technique is similar to the painting style of Pointillism, the use of many tiny dots which become blended by the eyes when viewed, this technique was developed by Georges Seurat, a French neo-Impressionist in 1886.
