Furtherrr’s “Recreation” at the Highline Ballroom

Bridging art, music and spirituality, Furtherrr collective (which includes Mars-1, Oliver Vernon, Damon Soule, David Choong Lee and NoMe Edonna) has a special event planned next weekend. Collaborating with artists and prominent practitioners of meditation and spiritual healing, the artists will be painting live on September 20 at New York's Highline Ballroom for "Reacreation." Mars-1 will pair up and collaborate with Alex Grey, a well-known spiritual leader, painter and psychonaut from the LSD era. His wife and painter, Allyson Grey, will be painting with Vibrata (a fellow painter and meditation practioner), as well as Damon Soule and Oliver Vernon from Furtherrr. The spectacle will be accompanied by tripped-out musical performances by Murph of STS9, Jon the Barber of the Disco Biscuits and others. Tickets may be purchased here and more information can be found on the event's Facebook page.
