Video: Geoff McFetridge’s “Around Us and Between Us” at Ivory & Black

Well-known artist Geoff McFetridge will open his solo show, "Around Us and Between Us," at London's Ivory & Black tonight. Featuring 10 new acrylic paintings, the show is an exploration of how reducing and removing an image from its context changes its meaning. Straddling the line between graphic design and poetry, McFetridge carefully chooses images from his mundane observations and personal life to create an abstract language that each viewer can interpret. Take a look at a teaser video and a couple of images of the new work after the jump.
