Marina Muun’s Drawings of Sacred Spaces

Cologne, Germany-based artist Marina Muun's paintings and digital illustrations take place in a ritualistic space. Imaginary creatures are caught in moments of solace within the misty fog, each one's distinct appearance connoting a different attitude and mystical power. Taking inspiration from textiles, crafts and organic forms found in nature, Muun fills her works with details that create a hand-made aesthetic despite her use of digital media.
