Barcelona-based artist Chamo San uses simple ball-point pens and graphite pencils with a delicate touch. His drawings engage with the human figure; the men and women he renders appear to be caught in their natural states, lounging romantically without the artifice of model-esque poses. San sometimes combines his drawings with photography and collage, playing with the way he can reproduce and manipulate the mundane through different media. Chamo San has a solo show coming up on September 7 at Barcelona’s Galeria Miscelanea. Take a look at a few of his latest drawings.
