Produced in conjunction with his solo show opening at Jonathan LeVine Gallery this month on the 25th in NYC, artist Alex Gross’ (VOL 21) newest book, ‘Now and Then’ will be released. Featuring images painted over antique cabinet cards, the works appear as companions to Gross’ larger, more developed works, taking on qualities of found art objects, smaller studies, or with their singular symbols and texts; strange tarot cards.
