Danny Keith’s ‘Flannel and Fur’

by Ken HarmanPosted on

In ‘Flannel and Fur,’ the latest body of work by Boston-based artist Danny Keith, a new avenue of American portraiture is explored. Contemplative, solemn and bearded models bridge gaps of masculine and feminine imagery with the artist’s masterful touch, revitalizing the form of the studio portrait not just with unique subject matter, but also through the invitation of discussion on social and sexual debate. ‘Flannel and Fur’ opened last night at Ratio 3 in San Francisco and will be on view until February 18th.
