For the last several years, a graffiti movement has been quietly bubbling away in the street art underground, one that fuses fractal geometry with a graffiti writer’s color palate. Though the design/photographic work of Michele Pesce‘s “Defragment” series isn’t what we’d necessarily consider to be “graffuturism,” the sharp lines, movement and colors are easily reminiscent of the more two dimensional (and outdoors) works of artists such as Augustine Kofie and Remi/Rough.
