This Thursday (January 5th) at Lyons Wier Gallery will see the latest body of work by artist Jazz-Minh Moore ‘Is That All There Is?’ For the follow up to 2010s ‘Slipping Sideways,’ Moore revisits her childhood home in the Oregon woods, documenting the now-deteriorating cabin with her sister as model. Through her subject’s tattoos and background art, Moore aims to create a new pantheon of gods free of the typical monotheistic and patriarchal restraints of society, symbolized by both the gradual destruction of the structure and its brightly colored elements. Get a look at a few of the new works debuting this week here on Hi-Fructose.
