Our friends over at Arrested Motion will be presenting their curatorial debut later this evening at Above Second Gallery. Entitled ‘East West Connect,’ the group exhibition features an impressive roster of artists, Shepard Fairey, Faile and Travis Louie to name a few, who’s work connects the international marks of the globe, bringing their art to the forefront of Asia. While many of the artists reside in the US, many of them are of Asian heritage, and this show serves as an ideal opportunity for their work to be brought “home” while simultaneously giving fans in the East a rare opportunity to view new contemporary art in person. ‘East West Connect’ opens later this evening (Friday, November 25th) at Above Second Gallery in Hong Kong.
