‘Rise of the Underground’ at Mark Moore

Now on view at Mark Moore Gallery is ‘Rise of the Underground’ a two person show featuring Jeremy Fish (whose studio we recently visited here) and Kenichi Yokono (who we featured in HF Vol. 12.) Representing various forms of woodworking and illustrative styles from two different parts of the globe, these two artists’ works merge together nicely with contrasting color palates and a love for detail and the handmade. A motif of skulls and skateboards run rampant through the works in this charmingly and mildly disturbing east meets west exhibition. ‘Rise of the Underground’ will be on view until December 17th, get a look at several of our favorite works from the show here on Hi-Fructose.
