For the past several years, photographer Brian McCarty has reached a bit of cult-like status in the collectible vinyl world. His elaborately staged toy photography has caught the eyes of countless fans, artists, vinyl figure producers and has even warranted a retrospective book, “Art Toys.” As the collectible toy world evolves, so to has the photography of McCarty, who has for the past year been traveling to war torn areas of the world and using his talents as a photographer to recreate the art therapy produced by the affected children of the region.
